Many times as bosses or parents we found ourselves with the responsability of motivating the persons we have in charge and frecuently been a leader is dificult if people don't have the will of listening and pay attention to what we are saying.

These are some suggestions compiled from some books and that based in my experience in my life I have learned:
1.- Praise people but always been sincere if not they do not believe you. Say always at first the excellent abilities that have the other persons.
2.- Call other people by their name with so much cordiality and remember always the very important dates like their birthday for example.
3.- Dedicate time to get to know how is the health or animus of a person, sometimes we want him or her to do such or which thing but we don't notice that this person maybe have some problem.
4.- People always think in theirselves first, second and third, so if you are trying that they obey you first think in what they can be thinking and speak about this theme then you will see how magically they pay attention to you.
5.- Be emphatetic with the other person, If I were the other person what will I do?.
6.- If you are going to make some critique or suggestion, first bring out some beautiful compliment about the other person and then tell him or her the suggestion. A person is more open to criticism when first he or she receives a nice praise about his or her person.
7.- .If somebody offends us, we should try to understand that maybe this person is passing a bad moment, bring out the best of this criticism, as for example if somebody says to you that your shoes are ugly, maybe you are right, ¿Could you advise me what pair of shoes may I use?. You won't have offended him or her and for sure you will have win a friend.
